Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering deliverables (mass balances, equipment sizing, PFDs, P&IDs, design reports, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain process engineering standards.
  • Lead process design and implementation initiatives.
  • Act as a client liaison, ensuring project requirements are met.
  • Manage subcontractors and review proposals for improvement opportunities.
  • Stay updated on advanced water treatment technologies and best practices.
  • Prepare technical specifications for vendor packages.
  • Lead commissioning efforts during project execution.
  • Support knowledge transfer and provide expertise to internal teams.

Requirements:

  • B-Tech, BSc, or BEng in Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • Mid-Level: 3–6 years of experience.
  • Senior-Level: 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong technical skills with attention to detail.
  • Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven project engineering/management abilities.

Advantageous Experience:

  • Water treatment and membrane technologies (mining or wastewater industries).
  • PR.Eng registration (ECSA).
  • Filtration, ion exchange, clarification, and solids separation.
  • Chemical dosing and handling system design.
  • Hydro-metallurgy experience.
