Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering deliverables (mass balances, equipment sizing, PFDs, P&IDs, design reports, etc.).
- Establish and maintain process engineering standards.
- Lead process design and implementation initiatives.
- Act as a client liaison, ensuring project requirements are met.
- Manage subcontractors and review proposals for improvement opportunities.
- Stay updated on advanced water treatment technologies and best practices.
- Prepare technical specifications for vendor packages.
- Lead commissioning efforts during project execution.
- Support knowledge transfer and provide expertise to internal teams.
Requirements:
- B-Tech, BSc, or BEng in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Mid-Level: 3–6 years of experience.
- Senior-Level: 10+ years of experience.
- Strong technical skills with attention to detail.
- Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
- Proven project engineering/management abilities.
Advantageous Experience:
- Water treatment and membrane technologies (mining or wastewater industries).
- PR.Eng registration (ECSA).
- Filtration, ion exchange, clarification, and solids separation.
- Chemical dosing and handling system design.
- Hydro-metallurgy experience.
